Meet Gina Bartlett

I am an accomplished mediator and proven collaborative leader with 20 years of success in public policy consulting in the United States and internationally. I enjoy figuring out how to navigate conflict and complexity. High stakes policy, uncertain science, and passionate people are my forte.

I have effectively designed, led, and facilitated collaboration on policy development, strategic planning, and governance, focusing on water, natural resources, energy, and biosciences always with a climate overlay.

I am a conflict resolution specialist and go-to practitioner for mediating conflict; I have mediated disputes ending 15 and 30 years of litigation. I typically work with 10-50 parties, leading the process to integrate everyone’s interests into consensus-driven, durable solutions.

I have served in the leadership of the Consensus Building Institute, an international organization incubated by MIT Department of Planning and Harvard University Public Disputes Program, and the Center for Collaborative Policy, a consulting organization of Sacramento State University. I have a Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School located at George Mason University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

While San Francisco is my home, I have deep roots in the small Illinois farming community where I grew up. I love to travel, cook, read, experience art, and connect with inventive people and projects.
